• GAO High-Risk Improvement Plans: In January 2007, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) issued an update to its High Risk Series that cited FAA’s significant progress in addressing weaknesses in its air traffic modernization program since 1995. The GAO, however, expressed concerns about FAA’s ability to meet consistently meet cost and schedule targets for these major projects. The following documents provide a summary as well as a detailed explanation of how FAA intends to address the issue.
